TED WILLIAMS: Art Director
Ted Williams is an art director and designer who specializes in both print and interactive media. He brings to D+CO a distinguished background as a creative problem solver and applies his virtuosity for logo and brand creation to help our clients break through and connect with their audience.
Before joining D+CO, Ted served as both an art director and designer at Pittsburgh agencies Mullen, Giant Ideas and USWeb/MARC, where he played a pivotal role in the creative branding and marketing efforts of Alcoa, Bayer, Tony's Pizza, Carrier, NASA, Eat N' Park and Kennywood, among others.
In his 20+ years of design experience, Ted has served as President of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Pittsburgh chapter and earned numerous poster design and screen-printing awards. His passion for the industry he loves also led him to a post as a design instructor at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where he taught for two years.
Ted dwells in the historic South Side of Pittsburgh with his two wonderful daughters and their cat and dog. When he's not helping clients communicate, he's spending quality time with his girls, climbing mountains, backpacking, screen printing, raising money for his favorite charities, and recording and performing music. |
